OUR APPROACH
Our job is to turn your dream into reality by preparing a comprehensive detailed brief and budget at the earliest stage to save time and money. We have had a long-standing dialogue with all the relevant authorities, so we can advise on what you can and can’t do. We can navigate around and explain any tricky parts.
A typical project is as follows:
There are two distinct stages:
1. Design with full drawings and specifications. This involves full planning and building control approvals along with any other statutory notifications. These could include party wall notices, Thames Water notices, structural engineers, and other events. All necessary documents and permissions up to the commencement of works on site. We use computer-aided (CAD) programs including 3D presentation.
2. Preparation of building tender documents and procurement of a suitable building contractor.
Supervision of all works until completion and occupation of the site. The builder will be required to submit a realistic programme and payment schedule prior to the commencement of the works. Our service includes interim valuation stages and advice on what and when to pay the builder.
